HARVEST 2024: 1st EDITION

Tracking what we harvest seems like a good idea. Easy enough. However, inevitably I forget to note those leeks I pulled, or my hubby cuts some spears of asparagus and hollers the amount that I mentally note to log as soon as I can and when I get to that task I question if I remember what he said correctly. (I probably don’t.)

I considered abandoning the 2024 harvest tracer. The accidental inaccuracy is uncomfortable for my type A tendencies. But you often ask what’s coming out of the garden, and I want to share the variety and abundance that is actually happening from a few beds and a love for playing in the dirt. So I’m turning away from the type A side of me for this project. Embracing the slower moving side of me that wonders why worry about anything in order to share what we’re enjoying.

As part of this adventure, I’ll share clips from the week on YouTube. I’m super new—dare I say green!—to YouTube. Not watching, but posting. I don’t know exactly how I’ll use the platform, so we’ll see how it evolves together. If you’re so inclined, pop on over to YouTube and, as the Tubers (is that what they’re called?) say, like and follow and don’t forget to hit that alert button. 😉 Just kidding. Do whatever you want. 😘
