HARVEST 2024: 2st EDITION

We’ve hit the point where we’re growing enough mixed greens (currently a mix of red sail lettuce and arugula) that we don’t have to purchase any! The large plastic containers we purchase at Costco run about $5 and we go though at least one a week, so for us, this is a huge saving. Besides the cash saved, this curbs a plastic container from the recycle bin each week. I feel good about that. The goal now is to never buy lettuce in a plastic bag again.
