What’s It About?
Part How To, part self improvement, and part motivation this book introduces the idea of, you guessed it, Bullet Journaling. It teaches the framework for a meaningful way to organize life, reflect on what you’ve done, and make conscious decisions about how to move forward and evolve in the future.
My Thoughts
I’ve tried a lot of different organizational systems—basic notebooks, fancy paper planners, and several apps, both free and paid—and what I always come back to is pen and paper. Writing helps me process thoughts and be mindful.
If you, too, find yourself drawn to paper methods of organization or mental processing, I think this book will help you level up your overall approach to life.
Ryder is a fantastic writer, adding just enough stories and apolitical information to create an impact with all his points.
With all the highlights and tabbing I did, I know this is a book I’ll reference over and over. So I suggest purchasing the paper copy for your library.
For many, including those who already Bullet Journal, not all the ideas will be completely new. However the book refreshes old ideas and adds new ways to approach planning and self improvement.
Who It’s For
People who like pen and paper and are ready to approach planning as not just a way to organize your day, but to improve yourself and your life.
