STATION ELEVEN, EMILY ST. JOHN MANDEL

Fiction • Dystopian • Post-Apocalyptic

THE BOOK

With a short incubation period and a high mortality rate, a flu wipes so many people that the fabric of society collapses. This isn’t so much a tale of the collapse itself, or the scrappy nature needed to survive, but rather about the slow trickle of revival woven with scenes of the past that weave together strangers and friends that were all in someway connected through the knowing of a single man.

The story left a quiet, yet warm echo inside of me.
