I had the privilege of attending an event in Portland with Marianne and received my copy of The Mystic Jesus. I never thought I’d read a book about Jesus, myself being more turned off by “religion” than on and by proxy, anything having to do with Jesus. This book, though, reminds us that the meaning groups ascribe to people, places, and events are not always the full story or even the correct one. I’m grateful to have gleamed more about his journey and, more importantly, the universal lessons we all need.

Thank you, Marianne, for sharing your knowledge. We are all better for it.
